By Car / Taxi
As the Singapore Botanic Gardens has several entrances, we advise diners to enter via Tyersall Avenue (same access to the National Orchid Garden and Burkill Gate) from Holland Road.

With effect from Saturday, 16 January 2016. Tyersall Avenue will be re-routed and replaced with a 2-way road. ERP gantry parking is available at the entrance to the Ginger Garden (Coach lots are available for parking of cars from 6 pm onwards).

Parking Charges
7.00 am – 12.00 am             $0.02 per min
7.00 pm – 12.00 am             $2 maximum
*15 min grace period for gantry entry.

From the Burkill gate, The Halia Restaurant is a pleasant 2-minute stroll past the National Orchid Garden at the edge of the Ginger Garden.

Alternative parking is available at the Cluny Gate and Tanglin Gate entrances. From there, it is an equally enjoyable walk of 10 to 15 minutes to Halia Restaurant.

By Foot
The nearest entrance is via Tanglin Gate. From there, The Halia is a scenic 15 min stroll towards the Ginger Garden past the Swan Lake.
